Transmission overhaul is a comprehensive repair process in which a transmission is completely disassembled, inspected, worn or damaged parts are replaced, necessary adjustments are made, and then reassembled. The overhaul process aims to optimize the performance of the transmission and extend its life.

Steps of Transmission Overhaul:

Disassembly: Removal of the transmission from the vehicle.
Component Inspection: Disassembling the transmission piece by piece and checking each component. Many parts such as gears, bearings, synchronized components, seals, and gaskets are examined in detail at this stage.
Cleaning: Cleaning the removed parts. Special solvents or ultrasonic cleaning machines are usually used.
Change: Replacing worn, damaged, or end-of-life parts with new ones.
Assembly: Reassembling the parts that have been checked, cleaned, and made the necessary changes.
Oil Filling: Filling the transmission oil after the overhaul.
Testing: Testing the transmission after the assembly is completed.
Assembly: Reassembling the revised transmission into the vehicle.
