Engine Reconditioning and Overhaul

The engine, which is the heart of a car, is important for maintenance and, if necessary, renewal (overhaul). Because the importance of a problem-free engine in displaying the factory performance of your vehicle without any problems is quite great. Rectification
It is the process of removing chips from inside the cylinder. The insides of the cylinders are processed according to the size of the pistons to be used. The aim is to process the insides of the cylinders according to the pistons to be used, leaving the necessary chip margin for the honing process.

Honing
It is the preparation of the cylinder surfaces so that the rings can work and the oil film can form. The roughness of the surface resulting from the honing process is the most important factor that determines the life of the engine.

Main Bearing Bar
It is the renewal process carried out in order to bring the main bearing and piston rod bearing measurement values of the cylinder block or the deformation that has occurred due to various reasons to the required dimensions by processing them in the main or rod bearing bar machine.

Arm Bar
Arm bushings are replaced with new ones and processed to the required size for the new pins to work. In case of ovality/conicity in the inner dimensions of the arm caps, the arm caps are bored to the standard size.

Crank Grinding
Abrasion and measurement irregularities occurring in the crankshaft journals are eliminated by grinding the crankshaft. Crank grinding process is the precise grinding of the cylindrical surfaces in the crankshaft journals. It is carried out by taking into account the specifications of the manufacturing companies.

Crank Polishing
A good surface quality and oil film lubricity are obtained by applying polishing process to the crankshaft journals.

Lining Change, Press and Lathe
Worn liners are pressed out of the engine block. The block is brought to a certain temperature, the liners are pressed and left to rest for a while. The cylinder interiors are brought to standard size values in accordance with the specifications.
