Crankshaft Grinding

Wear and measurement irregularities occurring on the crankshaft journals are eliminated by grinding the crankshaft. The main points that we pay attention to during the grinding process to be performed for quality grinding are as follows;

Ovality – Measurement – Surface quality – Appropriate radius angle – Horizontal center misalignment – Stone selected according to the material structure and size

Surface deformations occurring during grinding are finally polished on the crankshaft journals to obtain good surface quality and oil film lubricity.
